Exam Tips & Tricks

Hey guys! So during the second week of June I have my exam week, this will determine what sets I'll be in for net year and my GCSE's. I thought I could help a few of you guys who have exams, by giving you s few tips and tricks.
Just before I start I would just like to say that you should always, no matter what REVISE!! This is something I learnt the hard way. For the majority of this year, I went through my exams not revising, and if i did it was only a little bit. And I wondered why my levels weren't the best?! If there is one thing I want you guys to take from this, it would be to revise, whether it's for a few minutes or an hour and a half. You have to revise to get the levels and grades you want.
  1. My first tip is to use flash cards. One of my teachers introduced these to my class during year 8, and I can honestly say they make it so much easier to revise. All you do is write a question on one side and the answer on the other. You can do these on your own or with a friend to make it more fun!
  2. Number two is buy a revision book on the subject you're struggling with. For me it's science, I just can't get my head around it, I never have been able to. So I asked my dad to buy me a revision book and my levels have improved a lot since. They cover everything, all the biology, physics and chemistry as well as making it easier to understand. You don't have to spend a lot either, my dad got mine from amazon for a very little price.
  3. My third and final tip is something that helped me out a lot. One of my old friends told be about this website called Quizlet and it basically has saved me for my end of year exams. It's pretty simple really, you type in the question on the left and the answer in the right and it gives you so many fun ways to learn them. My favorite has to be scatter or quiz. And the best thing is - it's free!!
So that's it for this post, I hope I helped you out a bit, I know these tips work for me!

A Little Update

Hey guys! In my life recently, there's been a few changes, and I thought I'd share them with you all, just so you know what's going on a bit better.

  1.  So one of the first things a few of you might already know by my post a few weeks ago, called 'Never Give Up'. That is, that I made my YouTube again! I am honestly so happy with how it's turned out. I've learnt so much more, like how to get professional looking thumbnails for FREE, and so much more. I think that it's helped a lot with my views and everything, so if you guys would like a tutorial on how I achieved the thumbnails, I'm always willing to do that for you.
  2. Number two, is that last week I started a collab channel with one of my best friends, Holly Turner. She also has her own YouTube and Blog, and posts some pretty cool stuff! So go check her out, Click here for the link to the channel, we haven't posted anything yet but there are a lot of awesome things to come! With our YouTube, we also started a blog together, ill leave the link here.
That's it for today! I hope you guys enjoy our YouTube, and until next time, bye!

April Favorites

Hey guys, it's Emma and today I have my April favorites for you all! Before I get on with the post, I'd just like to say I've changed it up a little bit here as I found the other set up a little bit boring, however now, I have all my links to the right (you should check them out by the way ;) ) and I've also changed my header name to a photo. I prefer it a lot more like this, how do you guys like it? Now, lets get on with this!

The first thing I've been loving in the month of April is my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. I mentioned this in my last favorites post, so I wont go on about it, but it is AMAZING!!!

Something else I've been addicted to is this month is again by Rimmel, and it's the wake me up concealer. I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for a concealer to cover up blemishes and things like that, but if you're looking for something to brighten up your face a bit, this is perfect for you. I apply this under my eyes, the bridge of my nose, my chin and on my forehead, blend it in and it makes my skin look so so SO much healthier!!

The next and last beauty related item for this month is my Elizabeth Arden eye shadow quad. This is really good for a pink / gold smokey eye. Ive been doing this nearly all month, with the brown in my crease on school days and smokey eyes at weekends, and I've gotten a few compliments on it.

Off of beauty, this month I've been really into trying new fruits. I cannot stop buying and eating kiwi's, pineapple and strawberries, and this is so much better than eating chocolate and crisps because they keep you healthy!!

As usual, I'll leave a link to my spotify playlist here : http://tinyurl,com/l7mp34s, but a few songs I've been loving are See You Again by Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa and Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix) by Omi.

So that's it for my April Favorites. I hope you guys like it, I'll see you next time, bye!
